On the decks or on the dance floor, for Ben Pavlidis, it's all about movement and music – "Shut up and Dance."
Born in 1977 in West Berlin, Ben grew up in the vibrant mix of urban cultures like Hip-Hop, Punk, bass-heavy club music, and Techno. With his Greek and German heritage, his work reflects a unique blend of influences as a rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist, and DJ.
Since joining the Ecstatic Dance community in 2016, Ben has co-founded projects like Ecstatic Dance Potsdam, Tanzen3000, ED-Festival Germany, ED-Festival Goa, and Body Love.
Beyond music, he explores movement practices such as Qi Gong, Capoeira, Contact Improv, and Wind Style, a dance blending fluid motion with Hip-Hop dance styles. In 2021, he launched Radikal Flow, helping people achieve flow states through movement and mindset techniques.
Ben’s DJ sets combine live vocals with an energetic mix of global bass music and pop influences, creating a sound that is fresh and edgy. A professional musician since 1999, he has performed at Ecstatic Dances internationally, including in Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Zurich, Prague, Ibiza, Bali, Portugal, and Goa. In Germany, his performances span cities like Berlin, Munich, Leipzig, and Hamburg, among many others.
Through his music and movement, Ben continues to inspire people, creating spaces where they can connect and dance freely. His sound and energy bring people together, wherever he performs.
